    American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of women’s health care in Washington, DC, is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to provide a full-range of services supporting activities of the Department of Quality and Safety, the Safety Certification in Outpatient Practice Excellence (SCOPE) for Women’s Health and Voluntary Review of Quality of Care (VRQC) programs, as well as various activities of the Advocacy Division.


    • Assist with preparations and activities for the Committee on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement, the Council on Patient Safety in Women’s Health Care, as well as any ad hoc workgroup and task force meetings and conference calls; meeting communications; coordinate hotel arrangements and transportation; audiovisual equipment; and provide on-site support for the committee and staff members, including maintaining accurate minutes from the meetings. Assist with follow-up on committee, workgroup, and department actions, including: revising documents; preparing, proofreading, and finalizing correspondence; maintaining document files; and tracking Committee and Executive Board Review edits and comments. 
    • Support SCOPE. VRQC, and Multispecialty Portfolio Programs: Process SCOPE applications and payments. Administer SCOPE website and application portal. Assist with SCOPE and VRQC site visit logistics.
    • Provide administrative support for postgraduate courses. Coordinate workshop materials shipment. Prepare and submit reports to continuing medical and nursing education credit compliance.
    • Administer the Warren H. Pearse Women’s Health Policy Research Award. Engage awardees and communicate their research projects within the Division of Advocacy, as well as across the College and in the media. Support process of the review and selection of awardees. 
    • Coordinate multiple calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls, and type routine correspondence, transcription, reports, and conference call and meeting minutes. Process reimbursements.
    • Assist in the development of marketing materials for courses and department/program activities including booth exhibiting and outreach at national and regional meetings.
    • Perform research and duties as requested. Grant proposal writing and editing.
    • Provide assistance on special projects as needed.
