The College is currently seeking a Program Manager, Women’s Preventive Services Initiative, to manage the implementation and promotion activities of the HRSA-funded Women’s Preventive Services Initiative (WPSI), with particular focus on the Implementation Steering Committee (ISC) activities, projects and resources.


Project Management

  • Serve as primary staff to manage WPSI Implementation Steering Committee activities to accomplish WPSI goals related to distribution and promotion of project materials; oversee ISC document and product development including preparation of initial drafts as assigned, committee and external review, ensuring consistency with WPSI recommendations, and product production.  Establish timelines and work plans related to scope of work and product development to meet grant objectives; coordinate all products with WPSI well-woman care recommendations.

Project Support

  • Manage ISC meetings: with steering committee co-chairs and WPSI Director, coordinate meeting objectives and task assignments; develop agendas and background materials for products in development including relevant WPSI recommendations and other organizations’ guidelines; oversee development of minutes; oversee ISC budget with WPSI Director. Work with ISC co-chairs, Advisory Panel and other project staff to identify potential members to serve on the ISC, facilitating application submission, evaluation and confirmation of participation.

Project Promotion

  • Develop promotional resources in collaboration with ISC, WPSI staff and leadership.  Manage development of presentations, webinars, social media, email blasts, and other electronic media resources on women’s preventive services with the ISC and the WPSI Director. Coordinate and deliver, as needed, in-person and web-based presentations to promote WPSI and related materials.

Project Marketing  

  • Manage product development and communication with WPSI leadership, members, and consultants. Work with WPSI Director and Marketing and Communications staff to develop marketing and promotion plan for both WPSI recommendation and implementation materials.  Manage preparation and submission of project requests to Marketing and Publications for WPSI recommendations and implementation materials.  Work with partner organizations to coordinate efforts to promote materials and public input. 


  • Collaborate with ISC participating organizations and WPSI partner organizations to identify appropriate participants, and to gain support for and to promote ISC materials.  Develop presentations (including posters and Power Point) for relevant women’s preventive services meetings, conferences, and workshops. Collaborate with ACOG's Practice Activities Division on their well-woman activities. Attend other relevant national women’s preventive services meetings, especially those of partner organizations to promote WPSI activities and materials.


  • Bachelor's required, Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in related work including project implementation and promotion, and program management, preferably in women’s health or preventive health services
  • Good oral communication and presentation skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to a variety of people. Demonstrated ability to set own priorities, work independently, show good judgment and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on several projects at once. Knowledge of computers, including Windows, MS Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat; excellent writing, spelling and proofreading skills; ability to meet deadlines, and to handle a diverse work load
  • Experience with website maintenance and developing webinars, and familiarity with social media applications strongly preferred.
  • Occasional travel required
